All folks are concerned about this virus. We are afraid and unsure of what we should always do to organize or what's required to avoid it and the way we and our families will survive if we catch it. this is often normal, but in spite of all this, I'm surprised that there seems to be little mention of God during this situation.
If any of you've got read the Bible you're conscious of the plagues and famines and disasters. They were often for the aim of bringing God's children, back to reality. to assist them to recognize that they were destroying themselves with bad habits. They needed to possess their eyes opened before they destroyed themselves. In other words, these plagues were often meant to assist save God's children. If they changed their ways and came back to living righteously they might be saved.
As I even have thought of this, I'm wondering if this Virus isn't one among the ways God has allowed all folks to seem at ourselves and recognize that perhaps we'd like to form some changes in our own lives.
It amazes me. Today. what percentage people say they do not believe there's a God. what percentage of people have walked faraway from their faith, their religion, and their spiritual beliefs and have chosen to follow the ways of the planet. How quickly and simply they create excuses for his or her decision. All fingers are pointed to the explanations they prefer to walk off. How easy it's to show our back on God and not believe!
If you read, within the scriptures, the days when people walked away was because they need to some extent of pride and prosperity and it seems decided they didn't need God any longer. It seems to be a cycle that happened over and once again. We are now therein cycling. At the highest of the cycle where life is sweet. We aren't in need of much. We are pretty prosperous, in most cases. we've all we would like and haven't any major wants. I'm speaking for the society I'm presently in. Just check out the habits of the many, if not most. the ten commandments mean nothing.
What do they say? In Exodus 20. briefly - Love the Lord, Don't take the name of the Lord vainly, Keep the Sabbath day holy, Honor they Father and Mother, Shall not kill, Shall not commit adultery, Shall not steal, shall not bear perjurer (lie), Shall not covet (want or envy someone else)
Please read them. As a society - where are we? As I said before, more and more are saying they do not believe God, Swearing is common. What are we doing on Sunday? Families are falling apart, Adultery? Commonplace, Steal, kill? Our prisons are filled with all those that got caught! What about others? perjurer - Politics? Covet? - maintaining to the Jones?
Just a couple of examples.
- Are we a righteous nation here within the United States? I feel not.
- Are we righteous individuals? we've to every check out ourselves and our own choices!
- In my estimation, as a society, we are pretty lost.
What has God done, within the past, to societies that appear pretty almost like ours - like Noah's time - Sodom and Gomorra? - He has done things, either to destroy them or He has given them a second chance,
Is this Virus, a second chance? Are we being given a chance to gauge our lives and become conscious of the changes we'd like to form in our personal lives? Or are we so ripe in the evil that we'll destroy ourselves?
We all are getting to die, sometimes. believe it.
I believe that this Virus is our second chance to form our lives right. once we leave this earth shouldn't we all be right with God?
If we get to remain, at this point, shouldn't we start living the way God asked us to?
I am watching this virus as my second chance.
Please take this point to urge down on your knees and ask God for direction, comfort, and hope. to assist all folks repent and prefer to be obedient and follow Him, so we will bring goodness to our world and be good examples to our youngsters in order that they have an opportunity at an honest life too.
